South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs and U.S. Housing Urban Development to Host a Homeownership Forum

The South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs (CMA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development have partnered to host a free Homeownership Forum on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s Conference and Business Center (Thomas C. Maeser Auditorium, 950 Crabtree Lane, Room 642, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Attendees will hear from staff members of CMA, HUD, the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (SC Housing), the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission (SCHAC).

This workshop will provide a wealth of resources to educate, guide, and assist communities of color on the following topics:

  • Fair Housing
  • Federal Housing Authority (FHA) Programs
  • Homebuying programs
  • Housing Counseling
